An archaeology student from Edinburgh, 20 year old Hannah McGlynn set up a special group last year to provide children in the area with an insight into the subject.
Teaching local youngsters all there is to know about their local heritage, Hannah and her fellow students take time out to teach in schools and nurseries as well as local community groups.
Digging for artefacts, rebuilding pottery and examining real bones is all part of the fun that Hannah creates to involve the children.
Hannah has partnerships in the pipeline with World Heritage Organisation, East Lothian Council Museum’s Project, Dig it! 2015 and the University of Edinburgh.
