Growing up in Glasgow’s largest housing estate, 18 year old Charles Lang has been making a positive difference to the Castlemilk community by offering his time to Castlemilk’s Youth Complex group.
Being involved since he was just 13, Charles is now the chairman of the group and ensures they offer local young people respite and escape from their often chaotic lifestyles through group-work and the arts.
Charles has championed the fight for the rights of young people locally, making his name known to local council and government representatives. His many talents include youth work, djing and helping other young people apply for funding.
