Young people in Scotland receive a lot of stick just for being young.

Lazy, violent, hoodies – you know the story. Young Scots have a reputation that they don’t deserve. For the past four years we’ve been working hard with Young Scot and the Co-Operative Foundation to shatter those negative perceptions by sharing the positive stories of young people who are really making a positive difference across the country.

But what else is being done to rid these perceptions of young people? Well now you have the opportunity to ask the First Minister of Scotland.

This Wednesday, March 26th, First Minister Alex Salmond will be in the Young Scot office tweeting from the @YoungScot account to answer your questions on #TruthAboutYouth. You can ask questions about anything on the subject of #TruthAboutYouth, from sport to music and everything else in between.

You can tweet your questions for the First Minister (feel free to send more than one) with #TruthAboutYouth and he will fire through as many as possible between 11.15am and 11.45am.
