Gregor Gillespie, aged 22 from Falkirk, preserves a very unique and unusual type of history; historical movie artefacts from British movies. Gregor has bought and saved hundreds of artefacts, from the only roadworthy Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car, to extremely rare props and costumes from films such as the Wizard of Oz , Harry Potter and Willy Wonka.
He was involved in the campaign to save the Gregory’s Girl school, Abronhill High School, an important part of Scotland’s film heritage.
He takes his props and exhibits all over the country and raises money for various different charities as well as spending thousands of pounds every year at charity auctions. Gregor also supports various museums around the country supplying them with star attractions to keep the crowds coming in.
